Introducing Flaex: linen essentials you'll love

Ah, linen.

Scrunch, don't iron, breathe and relax. 

Especially when you know it has been lovingly handmade, like Australian label Flaex. This lovely label of essential linen pieces for women and men began with one wonderful woman in northern New South Wales, Australia.

Sally Kelso is a former primary school teacher who needed a break. She confesses she's "really not a sewer", but she certainly fooled me!

Sally began designing, cutting, sewing and photographing all the pieces in her home studio in Inverell, New South Wales, using flax linen and silk. She’s since grown her label and works with a small business offshore which has helped her expand the range - including to men’s/ unisex button-up shirts and shorts.

I've said this before, but linen is one of those fabrics worth investing in. I'm already living in my Marilyn wrap dress as we face the Southern Hemisphere summer.
